Located in Jacksonville, Florida, this existing 34,000 SF facility was once a furniture store, turned Bolero Dance Studio, and now the site of the new Arlington Y.M.C.A.  This renovation consisted of re-using and accommodating the existing spaces with a new purpose.  The renovation was done with minimal demolition, the most noticeable being in the front lobby.   A once octagonal room leading to the main ballroom was removed and completely re-worked to accommodate a new wellness area.  New storefront was added to allow better visibility from the main lobby and entrance into the wellness area and vice versa.  New flooring, lighting, and color scheme brought new life to a space that was once tucked away and obscure into the open.
