Hota 
Design Studio recently placed first on three
projects; First Place for Corporate Space with the Douglass Georgia Chamber of Commerce, in Douglass County Ga. First Place for Institutional with the JU Health Science Building and First Place in the Wild Card Category for the design of their current office space. Urban Grind Coffee Shop
Look for a new Coffee Shop opening soon in Downtown Jacksonville. Urban Grind currently has a kiosk in the Bank Of America Tower and is now in the process of constructing their own stand alone store front shop. This 600 SF space located at the corner of Bay and Laura will be their second home. Hota Design was contracted out to do the design for their space and we couldn’t be happier. Look for amazing brews, bagels, and foods from their new location.
JU Health Science Building
Today, 9-3-2014, was the grand opening of the JU Health Science Building and Hota Design Studio was there. This building is an expansion space to their existing building, but with more high tech features. The outcome was phenomenal and we are all excited to see JU’s Health Science faculty and students learn and grow in such a great space. Photo’s of this space can be seen on the Explore HDS page.
No job too small or different for Hota design studio…
Here is one we bet many did not see coming. Not only do we do interiors, occasionally we are asked and commissioned to do exterior designs. For example, this was a set of stairs and ADA ramp that was needed for a recent renovation to a warehouse. We are always up for any challenge any project may have. In this case, it is not by any means glamorous, but practical and needed. Although the client did not spring for the palm tree, we still were happy with the constructed results.
